BYE TO THE HOLIDAYS HELLO TO SCHOOL!! The Term 3 holidays are over areI am going to tell you about the good things as well as the bad. We will start with the bad... The worst thing that happened to me in the holidays was that two of my first surviving rabbit litter died. One broke his back and had to be put down :( ... and the other died I don't know why. The other bad thing was the holiday's are MUCH to short. I guess it's worth it because I am going to go to Germany this year. The good things are... That the remaining kittens ( baby rabbits are know as kittens too ) survied the holidays. I went to the domain to celebrate the finishing the RWC and that New Zealand won it. At the domain I went on a bouncy castle called the Mission Impossible where you went up ladders and down slides doged things and stuff like that. 19.9.11 Do you have a question... that is, what is happening in New Zealand during the Rugby World Cup? Well many schools are studing RWC and a cheering on a country or NZ, and many cars have flags on their windows. Wakaaranga Primary School did acermony, were the whole school made the shape of two big kuros on the bottom tiger turf. What's happening in your country? And how do you represent it?
In the awesome holidays... I had ONE whole week extra! I felt really good about that! As well as that I went to the airport to see my cousins for the first time! We went.It was very exiting. My friend Jodie and I went to Eastern Beach, because I live on Bucklands Beach Road so its not far. The only thing annoying me was my big brother, since I'm the smallest in the family i get teased by him. Do you have an annoying brother like that?
On Sunday I went to the movies to watch African cats! I felt very exited. Because I am really good at cats. It was a very good movie. You did not see blood spilled all over the place though. We also had vouchers, for it so we got a free Vanlla ice-cream Choc-top, a free cofee for my mum and free tea for me and my sister. We only had to pay for me!!!
It was a very good holiday, I hope I get another good one!

The Mysterious Adventure By: Siri
One bright sunny day, under the ocean, a chameleon that could breathe under water, made himself green so that a dolphin could see him. As the light grey dolphin saw him she asked the chameleon, whose name was Maxline a question. “Hi my name is Coline. I’m looking for a home. If you adopt me I will be your pet, and take you for rides whenever you want me too’’ chanted Coline. Maxline thought about this. Then he replied “I will adopt you if you take me home. My address is 94 Basin Road.’’
So Coline took happy Maxline to 94 Basin Road. “Wow! You keep your house very clean”’ exclaimed Coline looking around, as they went in. In Maxlines house Colines favourite stuff was the dolphin shaped bed, the dolphin shaped bath tub, and an octopus shaped two-sided ladder and a dolphin kennel.
“Hmmm… I need to go to my work which is on the borders of Vegetar City. I need to get 550 moon shells to go on a Subliner.” He said sighing because it was so expensive. Coline saw his expression so she asked him if he wanted a ride. “But it’s too far’’ complained Maxline. Coline said “I will go to the dolphin moons and get 1000 moon shells. But then I need 1 moon shell in exchange” So Maxline gave her 1 shining blue moon shell.
It was 1 o’clock in the hot afternoon when Coline came back, with 1000 moon shells. “Can I come with you?” asked Coline curiously. “Sure” said Maxline booking a ride.
When they arrived at the Station, there was a very strange looking underwater jet waiting for them. There was a sign saying: Evil Agent Express 1, but they swam right past it.
Inside were lollipop bars across the entry to where the seats were. “To get to the seats you will need to bite through the lollipop bars” said the driver, who was a walrus. So Coline snapped through the 2 hard bars with her razor sharp teeth, just enough to squeeeeeze them through.
As they entered the missing bars came back, then all the bars turned too hard as metal. “Oh, now what’s happening?” they both squealed in fright. “You are captured by Doctor Sharp. I’m his best spy and kidnapper” said the walrus, taking off his glasses and revealing bright red eyes. “Look at this” he said smirking, pushing a bright orange button and stopping the enormous black jet. On the windscreen, a screen appeared. On the screen a man came up.
“This is Mr Sharp. He is the most evil thing on earth. He could make mince meat of you” explained the walrus. Coline and Maxline shivered, the coldest shiver you could imagine, in fact it was so cold they froze into an ice-block.
By the time they arrived at Evil Eye Lab, it was 3 o’ clock. The Coline and Maxline ice-block had melted by then. “Ha, ha, ha, I’ve got you now,” sniggered Mr Sharp. The gates closed behind them.
“Now that you are trapped, I can do whatever I want with you.” The sound of the evil laugh made poor frightened Maxline jump. He opened his mouth too speak but nothing happened. Instead of talking out came a muffled “Muff.” Poor Maxlinethought Coline
“Now I must put you in an old wine cellar and feed you till you, are plump and ready to eat” laughed Mr Sharp as he handcuffed Maxline and put a chain around Colines neck. As they entered the small cellar their eyes needed to adjust to the dark, by the time they adjusted, Mr Sharp had gone.
Inside the cellar stood 2 guards. They had 2 long spears. Both of them had blood red eyes, a dark black coat, and deep black glasses. On the ground there was an extra pair of handcuffs. There were only bars looking outside to the wide seas.
When it was evening Coline came up with a plan. “I have a plan” squealed Coline with excitement. So Coline explained the plan to Maxline. As the guards fell asleep Coline sneaked out a shining silver sword. As she cut through the metal bars, Maxline used a file from the other guard. Now that they have broken through 2 bars they both squeeeeeeeezed through.
Maxline hopped on the happy dolphins back. They both went home and lived dolphinliy ever after.
2.5.11 In the holidays I stayed at home for a few days, until my mum came up to go to Mamies. Mamie is my mums friend. It took us at least half an hour, to get there. Greg her husband is very cheeky, he tickles me till I get the hicc-ups so I lock him outside. He comes back in with his key then runs after me. On the first day he came home late because he was at a meeting, at a club. The next day we woke up he was driving Mamie to her eye appointment and she came back at 4.30pm. We stayed another night and then the next day we packed. A few days later my brother wanted to go toMuriwai (a beach) and kitesurf. So we decided to go camping for one night. The 1st day there was a terrible sand storm, so I stayed in the tent in the camp ground. The next day there were perfect waves. So we went body boarding, and my brother needed to wait. Me and my mum stayed in till she got cold while I was boiling, then we packed up the tent and left. In a few days it was Easter I found the most eggs. My mum is very creative and put cotton hens on real eggs. I ate loads and loads of eggs I finished them on the first May. That was my amazingly fun holiday. 13.04.2011 Term OneReflection Term one in year four was the best term in my whole life. I have learnt millons of stuff in just one term. I liked learning about native trees, because some trees i did not know about and others i did not know the name. I enjoyed going to the Botanic Gardens, because we learnt about how to figure out how old a tree is. Netball was one of my most favourites, because i learnt a new pass called the Chest pass. You hold the ball to your chest elbows in and push letting go of the ball. ITC was one of my top 10. We learnt about computers and we can write to each other on wikispaces. Another one of my top 10 was Summer Health. We learnt how to take care of ourselves during the summer, in the pool and on boats. I learnt when you need to replace your sun screen, when the sun is strongest, how to tell the difference between rips and currents. I learnt how to hold a pencil probally, how to slope and put my letters together more. I write quite a lot and my teacher says i'm improving. She also wants my writing to get bigger. I'm working on that the but it comes very slowly. For maths I go to Mrs Dale's class. I learn about money, measrment and volumes of water. We play maths games like Number consintration . I enjoy reading and D.E.A.R stand for, drop everything and read. I like reading even more when we read inderpendently I like D.E.A.R Because it should be a quite time, which gives you a bit of quite time in class. 23.3.11
*Botanic Gardens*
On Monday this week, we went to the Botanic gardens. To get there we went on a hot bus. In the hot steaming bus, it was very noisy, so that i wished i had earplugs. Out side the windows i could see trees, cars and bushes.
When we got of the bus i followed my group. Then we went to eat Morning Tea. After that we lisnted to some rules. After we heard the rules, we all went on our first activeity.
My groups first a ctiveity was to go on a trail. On the trail we were looking for native trees. I did not like the mosquites, cause they BITE and are itchy make your skin lumpy and were annoying. It was a bit rainy, so we needed to put on our coats and put our umbrellas up. Since it was raining it was muddy wet squishy with puddles. On the native tree trial it was also rocky.We answered all the questions. We also got more info for our topic. We needed to find the way out as well, which was a bit confusing at first.
After that, we had a YUMMY lunch. I had a few tidbits and treats. Next we packed our lunch boxs away and put our bags with each others groups.
Next we went to the class room. In the class room we learned, about a lifecycle of a flowering plant. We learned that you plant a seed, then it grows in to a seedling then finally a adlut tree. When it grows in to a adult tree it flowers, then the seed pods come from the flowers and tree grows. Then it is a life cycle. After that we went to collect and learn about trees. We collected leaves and berries.
Now the sad bit came, where we had to leave. Back on the hot bus, all the way to Wakaaranga School. Now i will show you some pictures
Feburay 2011 I am writing my wiki page for 2011 I have a teacher, called Mrs Langford. I have made new friends and feel very happy. I want to learn about native trees later this term, I think i've settled in very well by the way, i think school is number 1. I have got a lot of work to do.I hope I get better and better this year. I have done lots of work already, i hope you people enjoy school and work. Last week i got my rabbit hutch, and my Mum hopes i will get my rabbit's this weekend. (One day i hope i will get a farm, this is for when i grow-up.) I have worked my hardest at school. And i want to know ALL i have done by the end of his year. I have been at Wakaranga School, for 4 and a half years. Because i've been in year 0 for 6 months. I want to go and eat now cause i'm STARVING. I've got a friend called Ethan. He is 4 months younger than me. Have you ever been on a scary as slide, at a pool far away from this school. I forgot the name. They sell food there. I hope i can go again.

Hi there again
There has been an outrageous earthquake in Christchurch. Their where millons of people trapped and there are still many people trapped. People say over 200 people have died so far. Someone in my class said that people where holding others people's head's. That gave me the shivers. Do you belive that people people were their heads? Do you know that a girl was at the top of a building. but she survived. In the earthquake 2010 a 100 year old building didn't break down but now, it is like broken ice. Someone broke their finger. Their is also a lot of flooding. The earthquake happen yesterday ten to one. Their are still after shocks.

And tell their children all about it. Because then they take more care if a earthquake happens and will know how to escape.

Do you know what? In the weekend i got my pet rabbit. He is black and is called Black Pete. He is 2 months old. I got him from a person, who lives near Wakaararanga School. They live at the back of the school, somewhere. He eats are lot in the morning. And not very much at day. We are still bottle training him. We are going to house train him when he knows how to use his rabbit bottle. Cause then he can come in the house.

*Christchurch Earthquake*
Last week on 22nd of February on Tuesday, Christchurch had a big earthquake. The earthquake struck at 10 to 1. Some worried shaking person said “I was playing on the monkey bars when it struck.’’
Firstly people were going on a picnic, because it was lunch time. A few moments later… the buildings shattered down like rain.
Buildings wobbled like jelly. Then people ran around like mad. Next people were crushed by the buildings. Later flaming fires rose and caused dark black smoke.
Scared people were yelling for help. But there was an after shock which was worse than the real earthquake!
People are trying to pay for the shattered buildings in Christchurch. In Botany Chinese people were doing some kind of dance to get money for poor Christchurch.
Finally the earthquake finished but sad Christchurch is still poor. I hope they find people alive. I feel very sorry for them.

I found out that black is energy saving. That's why on word, i'm going to make black, background, white writing and a black top appearance. My favourite animals are tigers. I can't tell you what's around the world cause T.V at home, so i , will tell you about what's happening at school. Well our next topic is Native Trees. Our last one was about Summer Health. We did a wall about summer, that's only half finished, because it is awfully long. My drawing is finished today. And i have to help others as well now:(. Buildings wobbled like jelly. Then people ran around like mad. Next people were crushed by the buildings. Later flaming fires rose and caused dark black smoke.
Scared people were yelling for help. But there was an after shock which was worse than the real earthquake!
People are trying to pay for the shattered buildings in Christchurch. In Botany Chinese people were doing some kind of dance to get money for poor Christchurch.
Finally the earthquake finished but sad Christchurch is still poor. I hope they find people alive. I feel very sorry for them.

Hello again.
I found out that black is energy saving. That's why on word, i'm going to make black, background, white writing and a black top appearance. My favourite animals are tigers. I knew first when i watched a real looking movie called Two Brothers. The brothers are... TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you like tigers too?

Hello.
I can't tell you what's around the world cause T.V at home, so i , will tell you about what's happening at school. Well our next topic is Native Trees. Our last one was about Summer Health. We did a wall about summer, that's only half finished, because it is awfully long. My drawing is finished today. And i have to help others as well now:(. I wish i could on wikispaces writing to you instead. I am annoyed if i need to help drawing. Cause then they go no that was, now we can change it.
